[South Korea] Yeongjongdo Gueupbatter Airsky Hotel Incheon [Deluxe Ocean Double] My money, my country review
Hello, everyone!
Today, I’m going to share my review of Air Sky Hotel Incheon (Deluxe Ocean Double) on Yeongjong Island, Incheon. I paid for this stay myself, so it’s an honest review! Even though it’s been about 5–6 months since I visited, the memories are still fresh.
Location, Accessibility, and Parking at Air Sky Hotel Incheon
Air Sky Hotel Incheon is about a 20-minute drive from Incheon International Airport. If you’re coming from Seoul, you’ll find it in Gueup Battery, located southeast after passing Yeongjong Bridge.
Check-in was at 15:00 (3 PM), but since I visited on a Friday after work, I arrived a bit late, around 9 PM. (The front desk and lobby are on the 2nd floor.) I expected the outdoor public parking lot behind the hotel to be my only option, but luckily, there was still space in the underground parking lot.
During peak season, parking can get crowded, so it’s a good idea to inquire about availability before heading over.
Check-in & Check-out

Room – Deluxe Ocean Double Room
I stayed in the Deluxe Ocean Double Room, which includes one bedroom, a bathroom, and a double bed in a cozy 7-pyeong space (about 23 square meters). As soon as I entered, the modern and clean interior caught my eye. Arriving at night, I could barely see the ocean view, but even just knowing it was there took my fatigue away, making me want to relax right away.
I didn’t take my own pictures, so I grabbed a few from the hotel’s website—but I can confirm the room looks just like the photos!
The bedroom includes a double bed, a dressing table with an attached sofa, and reading lights and outlets on both sides of the bed. The small side tables were handy for charging my phone and keeping personal items close by.
The bathroom was clean with good water pressure, and hot water was plentiful. I liked it so much I almost wished I could take it home! Note that the hotel doesn’t provide disposables like toothbrushes, toothpaste, or razors, so be sure to bring your own or buy them at the front desk or the convenience store on the 2nd floor.
Amenities – Breakfast, Business Center, and E-Mart 24
The hotel offers breakfast, but I skipped it to try out a popular restaurant in Gueup Battery. There’s also a business center on the 1st floor, well-equipped with computers and printers, which would be convenient for business travelers.
The E-Mart 24 convenience store is on-site, though it’s not open 24 hours.
E-Mart 24 Operating Hours
- Fri-Sat: 07:00 ~ 03:00
- Sun-Thu: 07:00 ~ 01:00
Nearby Attractions
Air Sky Hotel’s location in Gueup Battery has many grilled shellfish restaurants and charming cafes nearby. Even though I arrived late, the area was lively with people. I went with a friend to a shellfish place right by the ocean, where we enjoyed soju with the sound of the waves—such a perfect way to end the day.
Overall Review
Air Sky Hotel was clean, and the ocean view was fantastic. It’s a popular choice for travelers, so it was bustling with visitors. Next time, I’d love to book a premier or suite room with a balcony and relax with a view.
I hope this review helps with your travel plans, and I’ll see you in the next post!
